We're looking into converting a bunker oil-fired firetube boiler to natural gas. What is the overall efficiency gain, if any? Fuel oil consumption is 18,000,000 liters per year. Will the boiler use the same energy equivalent of natural gas assuming the same operating regime? 'would appreciate calculations for clarity.
