Newer home. All 4 radiant zones work well. Superstor hot water tank not supplying hot water. Line in from boiler not warm as if outlet valve not allowing circulation through heating coil.
P+H repairman telling me that there is a secondary pump inside of the Weil-McClain boiler which is why the water heater isn't getting circulation but the four floor zone are getting plenty of flow.

I don't have the manual of the boiler with me and cannot understand why the floors would get adequate flow but NOTHING is flowing through the heater tank. The copper pipe before and after the 'T' to the tank is very hot, but 6 inches away from the 'T' juncture towards the water tank the pipe is nearly room temp.

There is a Honeywell electric valve on the return side regulated by the thermostat on the Superstor tank.

I would appreciate any comment(s)/directions before shelling out over $600 for the pump/installation.
