Failures in firetube boilers

Thanks for answering my last question... for better details i can only tell you that the boiler is about 30 years old or more and its always 24 hours running all year, we stop it only for mainteinance once a year. Also the tubes are welded at the back side and the tubes that has the leaking or the failure are at the second pass of a 4 pass firetube boiler cleaver brooks of 600 bhp... if this could be usefull for you I hope you could help understanding why the tubes fail so frecuently
