Hello from Alberta

I have no experience with industrial boilers or steam turbines. I want to generate power(<500kW) to sell back to the power company using our very abundant wood waste available to us. We would like to operate old, good equipment to save costs. I would like opinions and ideas on our proposed project.

I have access to 150HP - 350HP old (1952), locomotive type, fire box, high pressure(152 safe PSI) fire tube, HRT Kewanee boilers that are inspected and work excellent. Firing method is logs by hand. I understand that it would be more than a full time job refilling the fire box and that is not a problem.

I can purchase a small, used steam turbine.
I am concerned about a professional's fee of the setting up of the boiler/steam turbine project. Any rough estimate would be great.

Ideas about our project please!

Thank you very much.
