We are currently servicing an industrial coal fired boiler at present and have come up against an issue. The blocks inside the fire box are to large to manually lift out due to health and safety guidlines. The problem is we are having problems designing a long arm lift that can get in through the small access hatch and still lift the blocks out. Is there anything on the market for doing this? We did think about cutting the blocks into a more manageble size but were unsure as to the support structure.
Any solutions would be gratefully accepted.
