You could have the manufacturer do a cost benefit analysis for the retrofit and they could give you a ball park figure for fuel cost, btu output, efficiency, or whatever you request.I'm sure their sales people already have the numbers worked out. You can have it set up to burn gas or oil (that's what I have) this way if you have a problem with one fuel you switch over to the other, it takes two minuets. You said you did home work on the cost, I'd like to know what kind of figures you came up with. I've heard that oil has more heat than gas, but when I work out the btu's gas comes out cheaper.
