I have a new installation of Dust Colloctor(Bag House). The Bags are installed from the dirty gas side or bottom. The bags fit upon a venturi which is atttached to tube sheet with four pop rivets and sealed with a bead of high temp. silicone. Is this a standard practice? Does it work?
My other two bag houses are fitted with a taper screwed venturi and sealed with a proper gasket.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
