: Our economizer is just 3 years old but the fins are full of some type of hard deposit. We use a powerwasher every three to six months to clean the tubes. Any info on how we can remove these deposits, and perhaps prevent further deposit, would be appreciated.
Orville,, where are you located? I read your other postings and it sounds like you are in for big problems. Moe info is required to help but you should look for a good water treatment and mechanical to help you befor you destroy your fire box, economizer, steam drum and tubes, it also sounds like you might have D.A. venting or circulating issues. Good luck.
