We are having stimulating discussions on where to install our hot water heating system in-line filter(20 micron) and cartridge housing. We do not have a copy of ASME codes or a reliable source(our plumber) to consult. Please help if anyone has any information regarding this. There is talk we should install it after the return pump and pipe it between the supply after the boiler. Or pipe in before the boiler supply and pump. Sorry if this is confusing. Unit runs at 20psi and 180deg F. & 35%glycol/water soln. Thanks in advance.
