The boiler blow down tank should be replaced ASAP. If you can not blow down the boiler, your TDS will increase and cause you additional problems. Bottom line, if the blow down tank can not be replaced or repaired within a couple days and the company wants to continue to operate the boiler with the blow down valves locked shut, drop a dime to the state inspector.
