: From an operator's perspective, not a lot other than the boiler operating at 800 psi is generating superheated steam compared with the saturated steam generated by the 150 psi boiler.
: The 800 psi boiler will more likely have better controls that can react to load changes better than the 150 psi boiler. This means you most likely have 3 element drum level on the 800 psi compared to single or 2 element on the other boiler. The controls will most like be in better calibration on the higher pressure boiler because it is probably making money for the owner by supplying steam to a turbine generator or to refinery, paper mill or chemical plant process.
