I know this is a limited amount of info, but any help is very much appreciated. I am looking at a 250 ton boiler (natural gas to steam) at a small hospital in north Louisiana that houses approximtely 170 patients. It is used mainly for hot water and sterilizers in the warm months, and for heating, hot water, and sterilizers in the cool months. Assuming that the boiler is new and at optimum efficiency, what can I expect to see in water consumption (gallons per day? per year? etc.)? I'm only looking for a ballpark answer. Again, sorry for the limited info, but it is all I have at this time. Any help is very much appreciated.
