It's possible to have some action taking place even in stainless steel. You should be using a form of amine treatment to prevent this. Afilming amine and a neutralizing amine will do the trick.


: Would a condensate return tank constructed of 304L stainless steel need protection from rust pitting? If so what is used? PH of condensate is usually in the 7.5 - 8.3 range.
