What type of NR valve is it? Swing checks are notorious for these problems especially if low flows are present. There used to be swing checks where external counter weights were added to dampen this tendency. But generally if the valve is oversized for the flow and is not spring loaded this will happen. There are various types of spring loaded wafer checks or duo-checks which are much better, depending on your steam pressure and temp. Try Spirax-Sarco or the German Gestra.

: non return valve fitted in the main steam line is chattering, as i have previously asked this question on 08-11-2002(by the name of zaib), and tom has rightly guessed that the boiler is running in battrey with an other boiler. NEXT I WANT TO ASK HOW THE CHATTERING OF THE VALVE CAN BE PREVENTED?
