You will not find any universal boiler license that is accepted. Each state decides on whether they are going to adopt a license(s). Although I do not have a license issued by NIULPE, I know some people that do. Also, I am not sure the NIULPE license is a requirement in any paritcular state, but it may be in some municipalities. Start with getting the NIULPE license. It will be a good measure of your ability. From what I understand, there are different levels you can be examined for.
