Check with your jurisdiction concerning the requirements for blowdown/flash tanks. If the HP drains you are going to admit to your existing tank can accidently overpressure the tank, then do yourself a big favor and get a Code stamped "U" tank that will withstand the pressure. This is an area where you don't want to take any chances. See one of my earlier posts concerning blowdown tanks.
