I have a situation where I have a low pressure condensate receiver that has low pressure drips traps draining to. The tank is not ASME stamped U. Now I have some High pressure returns which I would like to bring to this receiver and flash the remaining steam and collect condensate at the same point as the low pressure steam. The temperature rise in the condensate will not be a problem, because I have a steam powered pump. When is it required ASME stamped tank is required? Is the case described above a place where a tank is required?
