Which is better? To feed makeup water straight to the Deaerator tank or the condensate tank?
All my training says that for the greatest efficiency of the plant we should keep the condensate tank in the system warming up the makeup feed before going into the DA tank. Our chemical man says its unnecessary, that by treating the makeupwater with chemicals warming up the makeup feed isnt needed and that the makeup feed should directly feed into the DA tank.
Where can I find any guidlines(proof for my boss) as to which is best??
