Hi, we are after something a little out of the ordinary. we are wanting to build a scaled down version of a Union Pacific 4-8-8-4 Locomotive. As I have been a mechanic all of my life, I soon came to realize that I have very limited knowledge of boilers and have absolutely no idea where to start. I is there someone out there that could educate me on how to design and build a boiler of sufficient capacity to accomplish this objective? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
