: I was in a high school boiler room recently. The operator told me his condensate tank keeps running low and as a result his boilers have shut down automatically. What would the causes be to have such a loss of make up water? Curious!!!

: Best regards Leo!!!

There are a lot of things that could cause this from leaking pipes, a leaking boiler, to an undersized condensate tank. If this is happening on a regular basis they should have a reputable boiler service company in the area have a look at the system and find out what the problem is. It could be an indicator of more serious problems to come.
