As a boiler inspector I see many different types of heating boilers in the industry. Utica, Peerless, Weil Mcclain, HB Smith, Burnham are all very well represented. Personally, I like Cast Iron construction for a heating boiler. The burner is also very important. Get some quotes, you might find a wide range in prices. I don't think you can go wrong with any of the ones I mentioned. Most important is keeping the boiler cleaned and maintained.
