We have had this problem with a lockwood DA. It happens when a large load swing occurs in our 100% make up. The steam pressure gets hauled down a bit and the water condenses the steam causing pockets of steam trapped in the water usually accompanied by a rumbling or shaking of the Da platform. We cut a couple slots in the internal of the steam distrubition pipe to help balance the steam in the storage section and the scrubbing section. {SUGGESTED BY MANUFACTURER} it has worked fine with no adverse affects on the DA performance.
