: I recently installed aTeledyne Laars boiler and tested the system using the old existing thermostats. Everything worked great. Then I installed a Honeywell T8600D programable themostat on one of the zones. When this new thermostat calls for heat, it will start and stop the boiler at least five times before it will let the boiler stay on and warm the house. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Check the anticipator settings first. They should all be set for the amperage draw of their respective loads. After that, it may be possible that the electronic thermostat is not compatible to being in the same circuit at conventional thermostats. They may all have to be electronic input thermostats (because of system impedance).
