The problem may be caused by dirty fuel oil supply. If the units are combination fired units, then modulator (servo) depends upon the customer's fuel oil source to drive the servo to prove high and low fire in the purge cycle. If you have dirty fuel oil, then the servo will not meet the high and low fire requirements. A solution may be a separate 55 gallon drum of clean fuel oil to supply the servo. Another option may be to convert the unit to one that uses a hydraulic fluid the drive the servo.
