Tarzan, is right and has given good advice, however,I think it is both proper and useful to give text or ASME code references for recommendations such as this.....
Please note the following:
ASME Section I has Figure PG-58.3.1 that seems to also answer your question...
ASME B31.1 has Figure 100.1.2 that essentially provides the same info........
I suggest that you purchase an excellent book published by ASME........ its called "Power Boilers" by Bernstein and Yoder...... it will answer a lot of these kinds of "miscellaneous" questions (about $60.00 from www.ASME.org)
