carbon build up on diffuser

I have an air atomizing Industrial combustion MMG22 burner, firing #4 oil.My air & oil pressures are good,pre-heater is working and just had a complete overhaul.Still Every 7-10 days I have to remove carbon from the diffuser.any help is appreciated.
