: 10 Psi sounds OK for your span. As for explosions, when unqualified individuals start fiddling with burner settings disasters can occur. Think of your burner as a giant carburator, ever seen a backfire out of the carb. while setting air/fuel mix? Imagine your boiler doing that. Call Cleaver Brooks if your not sure.

Everyone burning gas is trying to find ways to save money. Keep an eye on your chemistry, keep your firesides clean and fix leaks.
