: Does anyone know of a manufacturer who makes a burner capable of burning liquid hexane? Customer has hexane by product and would like to convert boiler burners to burn hexane.

: Thanks

: Scott, try contacting Coen Company (www.coen.com). They make and engineer all kinds of conversions and boiler retrofits. We have had them in on several occasions and service was good. They did a retrofit on an old process boiler to low a nox burner with FGR and it worked out OK. They are currently engineering a replacement for our duct burners ( old manufacturer out of business and can't get parts).
An Operator here worked at a chemical plant that burned a process gas intermittently and he believes that they were Coen burners.
