Looking for a company small enough for you and your talent to be recognized? Prefer a rural, family-friendly environment? This privately-held, highly profitable manufacturer of steam boilers has done quite well in the past five years, and they share the wealth with their employees. Their lucrative profit-based bonus plan has paid an additional 15% to 25% on base salary since 2005! They offer a beautiful facility located in the rural Northeast, and another new building is in the works. The atmosphere is friendly and team oriented, yet productive--they have rolled out three new products in the past year. They pride themselves in having many long term professional employees and they try to promote from within whenever possible. You'll be designing highly efficient combined steam and power boilers for both industrial and commercial applications. There are plenty of custom designs, and the CAD operators handle all of the detailing. The base salary ranges from $55,000 to $75,000, depending on level of experience, and with a 15% bonus, those numbers become $63,250 to $86,250. At a 25% bonus, this range is $75,600 to $93,750. When you look at the low cost of housing here ($80,000 to $175,000) for a four bedroom house), this is an attractive career move. Superior benefits include 100% company paid profit sharing plan, 401 (k) 100% company matched to the first 4 % of salary, $25.00 weekly contribution for medical,
relocation expenses, and an excellent rural location to raise a family.
Requires two or more years of steam boiler design experience, knowledge of ASME, NEC, & UL codes, and hopefully some background in controls. Your experience in the field is more important than a degree, but a BSME is highly preferred. A psychological assessment is part of the interview process. They will not consider anyone outside of the boiler/hydronic system field.
