Thank you for your quick response. I visited those websites.
as I suspected using the Taco 007
the second floor bedrooms of the 36x28 cape is at the 1/2" 25k btu limit(22k btu needed, and have 36' of base) I can leave this, just barely.
however the first floor zone is way over the 1/2" and within the 3/4" table(30k btu 45' of base + 5000btu toekick). Looks like I'll be tearing out the 1/2" in the basement ceiling for 1st floor and replacing with 3/4". So I was justified in being PO'd
On a good note, I believe he was using Wirsbo hePEX, and I read it has the Oxy Barrier.(too bad it's goin bye bye!)
