I'm building a 1800sq.ft. Cape in an area, where good plumbers are few and far between. My issue is, " heat loss for home was designed using 3/4" kompak baseboard@180deg., my plumber ran all 1/2" PEX not 3/4" with the Kompak boxes and blueprints; spec sheet staring him in the face, and before I get into it with him, I thought I'd ask here first"
My question is- will it be OK using 1/2" Pex for 3/4" baseboard ( will this be noisier,or should I take back the 3/4" Kompak for the 1/2" and increase water temp from 180 to 190.
boiler is Buderus G115-34 with Riello F3, and I can tell from the work that's been done, that I'll be lookin for someone new to set the Riello up.
Anyone know any good plumbers/heat techs in the White Mountains of NH?
Thanks in advance
Scott
