Thanks for your reply. I believe the fumes occur in low or no wind conditions. Presently it is cold and blowing 15 to 20 knots and no fumes are present. The CGa5 boiler is rated for a 6" id liner x20'. My chimney runs up the outside wall 28' and is atleast 12' from the roof peak. A Heating Tech recommended a barometric damper instead of the supplied vent hood but Weil McLain said it would void the warranty. any more ideas?
