Thanks Harold.
According to the gauge, pressure is 2.5 psig. Water has some rust. Would it be best to drain some water while under pressure or not? In the past I added "Rust Raider" to the water and the water stayed clean the entire season, however,"big box" put the local supply houses out of business and I can no longer find those unique products including quality air valves.

: The water leaves the boiler as steam and stays in the radiation as condensate. Steam flow is holding water from coming back. Too much water is leaving the boiler quickly and a steam pressure that is over 2 psig will do that. Check for dirty water or need for skimming also.
