Hi,
We have baseboard heat, the furance is about 40-50 year old hugh steel beast. The burner is about 14 yrs old. A local store has a Slant fin liberty 2 with tankless heater for $999.
Are slant fins any good. Our old beast has horizontal passages for the hot gases to flow over and the Liberty has the push nipples and the gas flow straight up (seems like a lot of heat would escape)
