I have an electric boiler which runs out of hot water very fast. Its a 50 gallon from A.O. Smith. I can barely fill a bathtub with only hot water. Maybe 3/4 at most. I have checked what happens when I run out of hot water and the lower element is not heating and neither is the top one. Most of the time the top one is only heating. I replaced both elements and it improved very little but I still have the problem. Please advise me on what I shall do, my uncle who is a master plumber could not figure it out, as he is more familiar with gas boilers...
