All a boiler does is hold water. As long as there are no leaks to corrode a boiler with oxygen being brought in to replace leaking water, there will be no problem with that. The only parts that cause a problem are ignition controls and relays. Temperature controls last decades. So really you are asking which unit has an ignition control that doesn't cause problems. If you neglect the sensors for gas units by ignoring them instead of having annual service, you find that they no longer sense a flame and lock out. After that, the best boiler is:
The one the salesman is selling,
The one the dealer installs.
The one the customer bought.
