Hot Water Boiler for both heating system and hot water?

Need help, your help is very much appreciated. i have boiler that is Federal Boiler Co. Can the same gas boiler have two separated lines one for the housing heating system. the other for hot water use? i don't have a separate water heater tanks for hot water use. please tell me how they work? Thanks
