I just had a contractor install a new weil-mclain PGF-6 305,000 btuh boiler. I kept my old expansion tank.
It is a large vessel located above the boiler and connected through the water input line. Is there any
significant advantage in system operation if go with a new diaphram type expansion tank or should I
put my wallet back in my pocket.
